"The G.R.E.E.N project, funded by the Erasmus+, Youth and Sport programme, aims to introduce young NEETS adults to the circular economy and to highlight the exciting entrepreneurial opportunities in this field. Partner organisations from three countries (Guadeloupe -France-, Portugal and Greece) met to debate and discuss the results of the GREEN project and the training tools and resources available online on the multilingual GREEN platform. GREEN Project: Towards an Inclusive Circular Economy (greenprojectec.com)This important event is co-financed by the EU.
Highlights include:
two round tables, one on capitalising on and disseminating the outputs of GREEN and the other on setting up an incubator to help vulnerable groups create jobs in the circular economy.
marine waste upcycling workshops with @lizzyartwork, where young people from @rota.jovem and a group of volunteers, whose volunteer experiences in Portugal were organized by Impactrip, made a lampshade and a smiley artwork using fishing ropes and crab cages.
We also enjoyed a zero-waste lunch, where guests were able to prepare meals with the chef, demonstrating how every part of a vegetable, including the waste here turnip, can be used to cook starters, main courses and even desserts. It was delicious.
In the afternoon, we also tested live the serious Game GREEN CIRCULOPILIS with around twenty enthusiastic young people!
Thanks to everyone who made this event a success!”
